Start of the Project: Laying the Foundation for Excellence
This section details KNR’s scope of work for the Camp Electrical Expansion Project undertaken for Pearl Petroleum’s Crescent – Dana Gas project, completed between 2022 and 2023. Our focus was on expanding the existing electrical infrastructure to meet the growing power demands of the camp facilities.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Comprehensive Needs Assessment: KNR engineers collaborated with Pearl Petroleum to assess the existing electrical infrastructure and identify the specific requirements for the expansion project. This included evaluating power capacity needs, identifying potential limitations, and determining the most suitable upgrade approach.
- Detailed Engineering & Design: Based on the needs assessment, KNR developed a comprehensive design for the electrical expansion project. This design considered factors like additional power requirements, equipment selection, integration with existing systems, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Material Procurement & Quality Control: KNR procured all necessary electrical components, cables, transformers, and other equipment required for the expansion. Stringent quality control measures ensured all materials met project specifications and adhered to the latest safety standards.

- Project Handover & Documentation: Upon completion, KNR provided Pearl Petroleum with comprehensive handover documentation. This included detailed electrical system schematics with the expansion incorporated, as-built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals for new equipment, and test reports for all commissioned systems.
- System Training (if applicable): Depending on the project’s complexity, KNR may have offered training sessions for Pearl Petroleum personnel on operating and maintaining the expanded electrical system.
- Ongoing Support & Collaboration: Our commitment extended beyond project handover. KNR remained available to offer post-expansion support, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the electrical system and providing troubleshooting assistance if needed.
