Start of the Project: Laying the Foundation for Excellence
This section details KNR’s scope of work for the Camp Remaining Electrical Works undertaken for Pearl Petroleum’s Crescent – Dana Gas project, completed between 2022 and 2023. Our focus was on completing various electrical tasks within the camp facilities, ensuring a fully functional and efficient electrical system.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Detailed Scoping & Scheduling: KNR worked closely with Pearl Petroleum to establish a clear understanding of the remaining electrical tasks within the camp. This included prioritizing works, creating a detailed project schedule, and ensuring alignment with overall camp operations.
- Material Procurement & Quality Control: KNR procured all essential electrical materials, including wires, cables, pipes, conduits, and various accessories required for the remaining works. Stringent quality control measures ensured all materials met project specifications and adhered to safety standards.
- Permitting & Safety Protocols: KNR obtained any necessary permits for specific electrical works and implemented strict safety protocols to safeguard personnel and minimize disruption to the camp’s ongoing activities.

During the Project: Building With Quality and Safety at the Forefront
With a comprehensive plan and secured materials, KNR’s skilled electricians meticulously executed the various remaining electrical works within the camp.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Material Supply & Installation: KNR supplied and installed the required electrical materials, such as wires, cables, conduits, and piping systems, throughout designated locations within the camp. This may have involved tasks like installing new lighting fixtures, power outlets, or electrical panels in specific areas.
- Wiring & Piping Works: KNR’s electricians conducted precise wiring and piping works to connect electrical components, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to electrical codes. This may have involved routing cables within buildings, installing underground conduits, or connecting electrical equipment.
- Construction & Maintenance Activities: KNR’s team performed any necessary construction works related to the electrical installations. This may have involved tasks like core drilling for cable routing, trenching for underground conduits, or minor civil works to accommodate electrical components. Additionally, KNR addressed any identified electrical maintenance issues within the existing camp system.

Finalizing the Project: A Smooth Handover and Ongoing Support
The final stage focused on ensuring a smooth handover of the completed electrical works to Pearl Petroleum and offering ongoing support, if needed.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Project Handover & Documentation: Upon completion, KNR provided Pearl Petroleum with comprehensive handover documentation. This included detailed schematics reflecting the completed works, as-built drawings, and any relevant maintenance records.
- System Testing & Verification: KNR conducted rigorous testing and verification procedures to ensure all newly installed electrical components functioned correctly and integrated seamlessly with the existing camp system.
- Ongoing Support & Collaboration: Our commitment extended beyond project completion. KNR remained available to offer Pearl Petroleum ongoing support, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the electrical system and providing troubleshooting assistance if needed.
