Start of the Project: Laying the Foundation for Excellence

This section details KNR’s comprehensive waste management services provided to Genel Energy from 2021 to 2023. Our services encompass the safe, efficient, and compliant collection, transportation, and disposal of all waste streams generated at their facilities, including both hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste.

The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.

  • Detailed Waste Stream Assessment: KNR collaborates with Genel Energy to comprehensively assess the types and volumes of waste generated at their facilities. This may involve site visits, waste audits, and sampling to categorize waste streams as hazardous or non-hazardous based on specific characteristics.
  • Waste Management Plan & Resource Procurement: KNR develops a customized waste management plan outlining designated collection points for different waste types, collection schedules, and appropriate disposal methods for both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams. We then procure the necessary equipment and resources, including designated collection bins, specialized containers for hazardous waste, and a fleet of vehicles suited for safe transportation of both categories of waste.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Permitting: KNR ensures all waste management activities adhere to relevant environmental regulations. This includes obtaining permits for hazardous waste handling, transportation, and disposal, along with adhering to specific regulations for non-hazardous waste disposal depending on local requirements.

During the Project: Building With Quality and Safety at the Forefront

With a comprehensive plan, secured resources, and trained personnel, KNR meticulously executes the collection and transportation of both hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste throughout the project duration.

The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.

  • Segregated Waste Collection: KNR implements a system for segregated waste collection at designated points across Genel Energy’s facilities. This may involve providing separate bins for hazardous waste, recyclable materials, organic waste, and general non-hazardous waste, promoting responsible waste management practices.
  • Safe & Scheduled Waste Collection: KNR utilizes a dedicated fleet of collection vehicles suited for specific waste types. Trained personnel ensure the safe handling and loading of hazardous waste into designated containers, adhering to strict safety protocols. Non-hazardous waste is also collected efficiently according to the designated schedule.
  • Compliant Transportation & Tracking: KNR arranges for the transportation of both waste categories using licensed and permitted vehicles. Hazardous waste is transported according to specific regulations, and real-time tracking ensures safe movement. Non-hazardous waste transportation adheres to relevant local regulations. Documentation, including waste manifests, accompanies each shipment.

Finalizing the Project: A Smooth Handover and Ongoing Support

The final stage focuses on the proper disposal of both waste types at licensed facilities, ensuring completion of all documentation, and project closure.

The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.

  • Designated Disposal Facilities: KNR delivers hazardous waste to licensed and permitted disposal facilities authorized to handle the specific waste types identified at Genel Energy’s facilities. Non-hazardous waste is transported to designated recycling centers, landfills, or treatment facilities based on its composition and local regulations.
  • Disposal Certificates & Documentation: Upon successful disposal, KNR obtains final disposal certificates from the facilities for both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams. These documents detail the types and quantities of waste received and the disposal methods employed. All documentation is provided to Genel Energy for record-keeping purposes.
  • Project Reporting & Recommendations: KNR provides Genel Energy with a comprehensive final report summarizing the project’s execution. This report details the types and quantities of waste collected, disposal methods employed, and all relevant documentation. KNR may also offer recommendations for waste minimization strategies and further optimizing Genel Energy’s waste management practices.
