Start of the Project: Laying the Foundation for Excellence

This section details KNR’s scope of work for the EPF Sarta Project undertaken for Chevron-OilServ between 2019 and 2020. Our role was to provide all the necessary resources to ensure the successful completion of the civil construction works for the Early Production Facility (EPF) at the Sarta field.

The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.

  • Resource Mobilization: KNR mobilized the necessary manpower, equipment, and materials required for the civil construction works. This included recruiting skilled civil construction personnel, procuring high-quality building materials, and securing the appropriate construction equipment for the project.
  • Detailed Project Planning: KNR engineers worked closely with Chevron-OilServ to develop a detailed project plan outlining the construction schedule, logistics for material deliveries, manpower allocation, and safety protocols. This plan ensured efficient project execution and adherence to Chevron-OilServ’s requirements.
  • Permitting & Regulatory Compliance: KNR obtained all necessary permits and approvals from local authorities before commencing construction activities. We ensured strict compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulations throughout the project.

During the Project: Building With Quality and Safety at the Forefront

With a comprehensive plan and secured resources, KNR’s skilled workforce meticulously executed the civil construction works for the EPF Sarta project.

The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.

  • Civil Construction Works: KNR’s team performed all necessary civil construction activities as defined in the project plan. This may have involved tasks like earthworks (excavation, leveling, grading), foundation construction for various EPF structures, building erection (if applicable), and concrete works for slabs, walls, and other structural elements.
  • Material Management & Quality Control: KNR implemented a robust material management system to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of construction materials. Additionally, we maintained rigorous quality control procedures throughout the construction process to guarantee the project met all specified standards.
  • Safety & Environmental Management: KNR prioritized safety by enforcing strict safety protocols at the construction site. We also implemented measures to minimize environmental impact, adhering to any environmental regulations set forth by Chevron-OilServ or local authorities.

Finalizing the Project: A Smooth Handover and Ongoing Support

The final stage focused on ensuring a smooth handover of the completed civil works to Chevron-OilServ and providing any necessary support after project completion.

The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.

  • Project Handover & Documentation: Upon completion, KNR provided Chevron-OilServ with comprehensive handover documentation. This may have included detailed construction drawings, as-built drawings reflecting any field modifications, inspection reports, and material quality control test results.
  • Site Restoration (if applicable): Depending on the project scope, KNR may have performed any necessary site restoration activities, such as waste removal or land rehabilitation efforts.
  • Ongoing Support & Collaboration: Beyond project handover, KNR remained available to address any questions or concerns Chevron-OilServ may have regarding the civil construction works and offer post-construction support if needed.
