This section details KNR’s comprehensive scope of work for general transportation services provided to Crescent. Our focus is on ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of cabins (accommodation units) and oil well equipment to Crescent’s designated operational site.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Detailed Project Planning & Logistics: KNR collaborates with Crescent to understand the specific transportation requirements. This includes details like the number and size of cabins, type and weight of oil well equipment, and the designated delivery location at the Crescent site. Based on this information, KNR develops a detailed transportation plan outlining the chosen route, timeline, and necessary resources.
- Equipment Mobilization & Permitting: KNR procures the necessary transportation equipment to accommodate the cabins and oil well equipment. This may involve utilizing various trailers, flatbeds, or specialized heavy-haul vehicles depending on the cargo dimensions and weight. Additionally, KNR obtains any necessary permits for oversized or heavy cargo transportation on designated routes.
- Pre-Transport Documentation: Prior to transportation, KNR conducts a thorough inspection of the cabins and oil well equipment, documenting their condition through photographs and detailed reports. This serves as a baseline for comparison upon delivery and ensures any pre-existing damage is documented.

- Safe Loading & Securing: KNR’s experienced personnel employ specialized techniques for the safe loading and securing of cabins and equipment onto the designated transportation vehicles. This may involve using cranes, forklifts, winches, and specialized rigging equipment to ensure stability and prevent damage during transit.
- Dedicated Transport & Monitoring: KNR provides dedicated transportation for the cabins and equipment, ensuring they reach the Crescent site within the agreed timeframe. Throughout the journey, our team closely monitors the movement of the cargo, maintaining real-time communication with drivers and adjusting plans if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Transportation Log & Progress Reports: KNR maintains a comprehensive transportation log throughout the journey, documenting important details like departure and arrival times, route deviations (if any), and any relevant events during transport. We also provide Crescent with progress reports to maintain transparency and keep them informed about the status of the delivery.
Finalizing the Project: A Smooth Handover and Ongoing Support
The final stage focuses on the successful delivery of the cabins and equipment to the Crescent site, ensuring their safe placement at designated locations, and final equipment inspections.

- Arrival Coordination & Unloading: KNR coordinates with Crescent personnel upon arrival at the designated site to ensure a smooth and efficient unloading process. This may involve utilizing cranes or other lifting equipment for safe offloading of cabins and equipment.
- Site Placement & Damage Inspection: KNR works collaboratively with Crescent to place the cabins and equipment at their designated locations within the operational site. Upon placement, KNR conducts final inspections of the cabins and equipment to verify their condition and identify any potential damage that may have occurred during transport. Any discrepancies from the pre-transport documentation are documented and reported to Crescent.
- Delivery Reports & Handover: Upon successful delivery and final inspections, KNR provides Crescent with comprehensive handover documentation. This may include transportation logs, pre-transport inspection reports, final equipment inspection reports, and delivery receipts.
