This section details KNR’s comprehensive services for supplying brand new forklifts from Japan to DNO’s Tawke oilfield in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. We ensure a smooth and efficient process, delivering the forklifts safely and on time to support DNO’s operations.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Project Coordination & Supplier Liaison: KNR collaborates with DNO to understand the specific forklift models being procured and the required delivery timeframe. We then establish communication with the supplier in Japan to ensure all aspects of the supply chain are coordinated effectively.
- Packaging & Protection: KNR works closely with the supplier to ensure the forklifts are properly packaged for ocean transport. This may involve customized crating, secure fastening within shipping containers, and the application of anti-corrosion materials for protection against moisture during the sea voyage.
- Transportation Planning & Permitting: KNR arranges for secure transportation of the forklifts from the supplier’s location in Japan to the designated port of departure. We handle necessary documentation, permits, and liaise with freight forwarders and shipping agents to ensure a seamless onward journey to Tawke.

With a comprehensive plan in place, KNR meticulously executes the transportation process, ensuring the safe and timely arrival of the forklifts at the Tawke oilfield.

- Sea Freight & Monitoring: KNR arranges ocean freight for the containerized forklifts, ensuring they are securely loaded onto the vessel and properly documented for the voyage. We maintain real-time tracking of the shipment and communicate updates to DNO throughout the journey.
- Customs Clearance & Inland Transportation: Upon arrival at the designated Iraqi port, KNR facilitates efficient customs clearance procedures for the forklifts. We then arrange secure inland transportation to the Tawke oilfield, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Communication & Progress Updates: KNR maintains open communication with DNO throughout the transportation process. We provide regular progress updates, including estimated arrival times and any potential delays that may arise.
Finalizing the Project: A Smooth Handover and Ongoing Support
The final stage focuses on the successful delivery of the brand new forklifts to DNO’s Tawke oilfield, ensuring proper handover documentation and post-delivery support.

- Delivery & Inspection: Upon arrival at the Tawke oilfield, KNR coordinates the safe offloading and delivery of the forklifts to DNO’s designated location. We may also conduct a preliminary inspection to confirm their condition after the journey.
- Documentation Handover: KNR provides DNO with complete and accurate handover documentation, including original bills of lading, commercial invoices, customs clearance documents, and any other relevant paperwork.
- Post-Delivery Support: KNR can offer additional support services upon request. This may include assisting DNO with the initial setup and commissioning of the forklifts, or connecting them with authorized dealers for after-sales support and maintenance.
