This section details KNR’s involvement in a comprehensive environmental solutions project for GasPlus, spanning the years 2015-2018. Our services encompassed various aspects of waste management, water treatment, and containment, contributing to GasPlus’s commitment to sustainable operations.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Detailed Project Planning & Needs Assessment: KNR collaborated with GasPlus to understand their specific environmental requirements. This included evaluating waste streams, wastewater characteristics, and water treatment needs at their facilities. Based on this information, KNR developed a comprehensive project plan outlining the specific technologies and methodologies to be employed for incineration, sewage water disposal, cutting treatment, water treatment, and HDPE liner installation.
- Resource Procurement & Mobilization: KNR procured the necessary equipment and resources for each operational area. This may have involved acquiring incinerators, sewage treatment plants, cutting equipment for drilling waste processing, water treatment facilities, and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liners for containment purposes.
- Regulatory Compliance & Permitting: KNR ensured all operations adhered to relevant environmental regulations. This included obtaining permits for incinerator operation, wastewater discharge, and proper disposal of drilling waste byproducts. Additionally, permits for HDPE liner installation may have been required depending on the project specifics.
