Start of the Project: Laying the Foundation for Excellence
This section details KNR’s scope of work for the Rewiring Cabins of Camp project undertaken for Pearl Petroleum’s Crescent – Dana Gas project, completed between 2022 and 2023. Our focus was on upgrading the electrical wiring systems within the camp’s junior, senior, and labor cabins to ensure safety, efficiency, and meet modern standards.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Detailed Cabin Assessment & Scope Definition: KNR conducted a comprehensive assessment of the electrical wiring in all designated cabins (junior, senior, and labor). This involved identifying potential safety hazards, outdated components, and capacity limitations. Based on the assessment, a detailed project scope outlining the specific rewiring tasks for each cabin type was established.
- Material Procurement & Quality Control: KNR procured high-quality electrical wires, cables, outlets, switches, and other necessary components required for the rewiring project. Stringent quality control measures ensured all materials met project specifications and adhered to the latest safety standards.
- Scheduling & Communication: KNR developed a detailed project schedule to minimize disruption to camp occupants. Open communication channels were established with Pearl Petroleum to ensure a smooth project flow and address any concerns from cabin residents.

During the Project: Building With Quality and Safety at the Forefront
With a clear plan and secured materials, KNR’s skilled electricians meticulously rewired the designated cabins, prioritizing safety and functionality.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Safe Work Practices & Minimizing Disruption: KNR implemented strict safety protocols during the rewiring process to safeguard personnel and camp residents. Additionally, we worked diligently to minimize disruption to daily routines by scheduling work outside of peak usage hours whenever possible.
- Meticulous Rewiring & Component Upgrades: KNR’s electricians meticulously replaced outdated wiring with new, high-quality cables and components. This may have involved installing new outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and grounding systems to ensure electrical safety and efficiency within each cabin.
- Compliance with Regulations & Testing: All rewiring works adhered to the latest electrical codes and safety regulations. KNR conducted rigorous testing procedures upon completion to verify the functionality and safety of the upgraded electrical systems within each cabin.

Finalizing the Project: A Smooth Handover and Ongoing Support
The final stage focused on ensuring a smooth handover of the rewired cabins to Pearl Petroleum and offering ongoing support, if needed.
The project’s success begins with a solid foundation.
- Project Handover & Documentation: Upon completion, KNR provided Pearl Petroleum with comprehensive handover documentation. This included detailed schematics reflecting the rewiring works, as-built drawings, and any relevant testing reports.
- Resident Training (optional): Depending on the complexity of the upgrades, KNR may have offered brief training sessions for cabin residents on the proper usage of new electrical features or safety protocols.
- Ongoing Support & Collaboration: Our commitment extended beyond project completion. KNR remained available to offer Pearl Petroleum ongoing support, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the rewired cabins and providing troubleshooting assistance if needed.
